Ministry Of Satan - Membership

We are the first Satanic organization of its kind in South Africa and although the media has reported several "Satanic" activities, we've found that most of these reports are false, cheap sensationalism and does not reflect what real Satanism is about.

Many individuals approach us and want to know how they can join. Well, it's not that simple.

We are searching for talented, creative individuals who will move the world around them by being a Satanist.

The first thing you will have to do before joining is to decide why you want to join and whether you are doing it for the right reasons;

We have been approached by many people who  are  looking to meet someone. We are not a lonely hearts club. True, many Satanists have found love or friendship in the movement, but it should not be your soul purpose to join. That's what christian churches have singles evenings for.

We have also been asked about money, i.e. whether you will become rich if you join. Maybe you will, maybe you won't. We have found that a lot of people have been able to live out creativity and intelligence through Satanism and that when combined with lesser or greater magic, could be a very powerful recipe, BUT, you will never receive money from us or riches by some arbitrary means just because you are a Satanist. The Christan church loves indiscriminately and will give charity to anyone who asks for it. We, Satanists believe that charity goes to those you deserve it. So if it is money you want, get a second job, work harder at your current job or learn how to trade the stock market. We can provide you with the structure, information and the opportunity to get in touch with other members to combine your talents in a project should you so wish.

It is for these reasons we have set up some pre-requisites you need to be aware of and adhere to before you can become part of our dark cabal.

• You need to be 18 years of age or older. We feel that individuals are not mature enough to make an informed decision about their choices in life and religion until they are of this age.
• You need to have read the Satanic Bible by Anton Szandor LaVey and need to agree with the philosophies described therein. The Satanic Bible is available at all major bookstores, but you will have to order it as it is not kept on the shelf. Most of our members have found it at Exclusive Books.
• You will need to perform the self-dedication ritual described here
• Once you feel you are ready to become a member of the Ministry Of Satan, send us an e-mail, describing why you would like to join and what you hope to gain out of your membership
• If we feel that you are indeed a Satanist to be reckoned with and that you are truly what we are looking for, then we will arrange an interview to find out a little more about yourself and whether you will fit into the Ministry Of Satan.
